The Recycling Connection

There is an interesting link between recycling and kidneys:

To sustain life, healthy kidneys or dialysis as their artificial partner reprocess the body's blood, discarding waste products and excess water and recycling essential chemicals such as sodium, phosphorus and potassium, and of course following a tragic death, transplantation can salvage and re-use healthy kidneys for the benefit of others.
